Georgia Basketball returns to the court Tuesday night when they take on the USC-Upstate Spartans at Stegeman Coliseum.
Georgia is in the middle game of a three-game home stand to open the season. The Bulldogs scored a 79-54 win over Bryant in the season opener and will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday before heading west to take part in the Wooden Classic.
Yante Maten led the way for the Bulldogs against Bryant logging a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Freshman Rayshaun Hammonds added 17 points and seven rebounds while Turtle Jackson chipped in 11.
The Spartans come to Athens with a 1-1 record. They dropped their season opener last Friday in Minnesota before bouncing back on Sunday with an 85-66 win over Allen. They are led by 6-6 junior forward Malik Moore who is averaging a team-best 20.5 points per game. Through two games, the Spartans have attempted 67 three-pointers and are shooting 42 percent.
