Report: 5-star defensive tackle recruit Julian Rochester commits to Georgia

9's Georgia site is reporting that Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern five-star defensive tackle Julian Rochester committed to Georgia today during his visit. His high school also tweeted congratulations to him. But 247sports' Georgia insiders said that Rochester has not yet committed, and is still on his visit. More on this situation and the 6'5, 320-pound five-star as it develops.

Yeah, absolutely no way this ends badly. . . .

Georgia's O-Line Haul Turns Out O-Kay

Despite some real concerns about coming up empty up front, the Bulldogs signed a tackle with huge upside at left tackle (Pat Allen), a JUCO tackle who can play immediately (Devondre "Scooter" Seymour), a huge guard/right tackle masher (Sam Madden), and a versatile guy who could play all up and down the line (Sage Hardin). That's quality recruiting by Coach Rob Sale on short notice. With a deep class of offensive linemen instate for 2016, it will be interesting to see if Sale can sell the Bulldog experience to a new class of big uglies.

It's Signing Day Bingo Time!!

Our good friends at For Whom The Cowbell Tolls have once again produced the definitive National Signing Day bingo card to help you track all the wacky fun of America's favorite unofficial holiday (besides national ice cream day). It's pretty accurate, though it is missing "player announces in a Liam Neeson voice" and "player enters auditorium astride a live liger." But otherwise, accurate.

Georgia Football Wastes No Time Promoting Richt's New Deal

This is the mock ESPN cover shared by the official UGA football Instagram page this afternoon following the announcement of Coach Richt's new contract. The message to recruits (and their parents) is pretty clear, and I think pretty effective. Stability. Family. The Georgia Way. Recruiting is sales, and selling is about branding. Mark Richt's brand got a little boost on Wednesday.

It's Even More Mind-Blowing In Graphic Form.

Nick Chubb rushed for more yards in 2014 than any man wearing the red and black ever has without simultaneously being named Herschel Walker. In September I don't think a lot of folks saw that coming, much less how we'd get to this point. What a long, strange trip it's been.

The possibly improper definitely irreverent USCe image thread.

Got a funny picture for the USCe game? Put it here until someone complains, in which case I am sure one of our hard working admins will remove it for them. Not a crack at them, a reference to their diligence.
