It’s almost time to again kick it off Between the Hedges!
Drawing conclusions based upon week one performance is always a hazardous thing to do in college football. Week two is usually where we begin to get a feel for players and teams as a whole based on a 100% increase in available data. As the old saying goes “once is an event, but twice is a trend.”
Personally I’m looking to see Carson Beck trend toward being more comfortable from the first snap onward, the receivers trending toward snagging catchable balls, and Mike Bobo trending away from calling running plays inside the ten with no timeouts and less than 30 seconds on the clock. Those trends are my friends. Let’s hope my friends don’t leave me hanging.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
