COLLEGE FOOTBALL: SEP 02 Appalachian State at Georgia

As is so often the case this weekend’s Georgia Bulldog football game produced a series of memorable moments. And a team of intrepid sports photojournalists were there to capture the action. We celebrate their artistry in this, the Photo Finish.

Ball State v Georgia — Bulldog fans, including the always dedicated Paint Line, we’re inordinately excited for the big noon kickoff.

Ball State v Georgia — You may accomplish many things in life. But you will likely never be as well dressed as receiver Braxton Hicks was on Saturday.

Ball State v Georgia — I expect this won’t be the last time a hapless defender finds himself looking at the back of Mekhi Mews on the way to the end zone this season.

Ball State v Georgia — The Ball State offensive line struggled with the Bulldog front on Saturday, including with Warren Brinson on this stop.

Ball State v Georgia — Marvin Jones also had a nice game, continuing what May be a sophomore renaissance.

NCAA Football: Ball State at Georgia — Carson Beck threw some nice passes on the day, but perhaps none quite like this touchdown strike to Cash Jones.

Syndication: Online Athens — Tate Ratledge decided to raise some Cash this weekend.

NCAA Football: Ball State at Georgia — Kendall Milton may have gone airborne on this second half touchdown, but Amarius Mims was pretty well planted.

NCAA Football: Ball State at Georgia — Roderick Robinson also had a hard-running day that saw him find the end zone on this spectacular third quarter run.
