Georgia Overview
The Dawgs showed that they are still playing to a certain standard, defeating Oregon 49-3 while also knocking the Ducks completely out of the rankings.
Georgia moved up to #2 in the AP Poll as they welcome Stamford to Athens this Saturday.
Movers
Fell Out: #11 Oregon, #23 Cincinnati
Newcomers: #12 Florida, #24 Tennessee
Overrated
#5 Clemson. If you struggle to put away Georgia Tech until the second half, you are not one of the top teams in the country. It’ll be interesting to see if there is also a quarterback change happening this season for the Tigers after true freshman Cade Klubnik looked impressive, albeit in garbage time.
Underrated
#20 Kentucky. The Wildcats will have a chance to prove they are underrated on the field this week as they take on #12 Florida. The winner will be the clear favorite to finish second the in the SEC East… unless Tennessee proves otherwise in their game against Pitt.
This Week’s Top 25 Matchups
#24 Tennessee at #17 Pitt
#20 Kentucky at #12 Florida
#9 Baylor at #21 BYU
Upset Alert
Tennessee is a six-and-a-half-point favorite at Pitt this weekend. In a game that is prime for madness, the Panthers will win outright at home against the Vols.
GO DAWGS!!!
