Your Week 2 College Football TV Schedule

Well, Week 1 of college football season sure turned out to be a blast, didn’t it? On the surface, Week 2 appears to be a bit of a step back from a hype perspective (this is certainly true for the Dawgs). But that doesn’t mean there aren’t quality contests throughout the day on Saturday to keep the ball rolling. There are no Thursday games this week and the Friday games aren’t anything to write home about, but at this point I think we’re all still jacked up enough that we can find something to enjoy. So without further delay...

FRIDAY

Kansas Jayhawks @ #17 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, 7:30 p.m. - ESPN

New default Big 12 power player Kansas travels to Coastal Carolina. That in and of itself promises a very strange Friday night. Is this what qualifies as a quality win for a Group of 5 team?

SATURDAY NOON

#12 Oregon Ducks @ #3 Ohio State Buckeyes, 12:00 p.m. - FOX

Not too shabby for a noon kickoff. Thanks FOX BIG NOON SATURDAY (*cue fireworks and wacky inflatable arm-waving tubemen*)! Let’s see if CJ Stroud can get off to a faster start.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

UAB Blazers @ #2 Georgia Bulldogs, 3:30 p.m. - ESPN2

I honestly have no idea how competitive this one will be and for how long. I still have some residual UAB-related trauma from years back. If this one does get out of hand, you’d be forgiven for peeking at a Top 10, in-state matchup between Iowa and Iowa State.

SATURDAY EVENING

#15 Texas Longhorns @ Arkansas Razorbacks, 7:00 p.m. - ESPN

Time to get behind Sam Pittman and find out if Texas is back! Again.

SATURDAY LATE

#21 Utah Utes @ BYU Cougars, 10:15 p.m. - ESPN

MORMON FIGHT!!!
