Georgia Overview

To say Georgia dominated Vanderbilt would be an understatement. The Dawgs won 62-0 and only allowed 77 total yards from the Commodores. It was the type of performance you’d expect from an elite national championship contender against an inferior opponent.

Georgia picked up a #1 vote in the latest AP Poll, putting their total at four first-place votes.

This week, the Dawgs host #8 Arkansas with College Gameday also visiting Athens. We need everyone that is attending to arrive early and be loud.

Movers

Fell Out: #14 Iowa State, #18 Wisconsin, #21 North Carolina, #25 Kansas State

Newcomers: #19 Oklahoma State, #21 Baylor, #23 NC State, #24 Wake Forest

Overrated

#6 Oklahoma. There is nothing that suggests that the Sooners are the sixth best team in the country. They have struggled to win against every non-FBS opponent to date, and their offense just isn’t clicking. We don’t really know how good the Big 12 really is yet – the Sooners could run the table or lose 2-3 games – but we will get a better idea when Oklahoma travels to Manhattan to face an angry Kansas State team this weekend.

Underrated

Unranked Maryland. The Terrapins aren’t going to challenge for the Big Ten title, but at 4-0 and with quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa playing at a high level, Maryland will shake things up in the conference. More to come on this…

This Week’s Top 25 Matchups

#8 Arkansas at #2 Georgia

#7 Cincinnati at #9 Notre Dame

#12 Ole Miss at #1 Alabama

#21 Baylor at #19 Oklahoma State

Upset Alert

Mississippi State covered last week but did not produce an outright win.

This weekend’s slate of games is going to separate contenders from pretenders. There are multiple options, but I’m going to go with Maryland at home as a +3 dog to upset #5 Iowa. This game is on Friday night, and crazier things have happened on these weeknight games.

GO DAWGS!!!
