First Quarter Open Thread

So far it appears that Darnell Washington and Tykee Smith will not dress for today’s game. But all four scholarship quarterbacks will. Make of that what you will, but it sounds like Kirby Smart roster managed to #playerrbody except the players he wants healthy for the Bulldogs stretch run. Which, as everyone predicted, begins next week with a matchup against....

(checks notes)...

(rubs eyes)....

(goes for eye exam)....

(comes back and looks again)....

...a potentially undefeated and top ten ranked Arkansas.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Today Georgia needs to come out, take care of business, and get back to Athens healthy and rested. It would also be nice to see some sound execution in the running game, and consistency from a secondary facing a Vandy receiving corps that’s probably the home team’s best unit, and one of the 3-4 best they’ll face in the regular season.
