The first week of the NFL season is in the books, which means that its time to see where how the Georgia products fared in week one.

In the Sunday night matchup, a few former defensive standouts in Athens went back and forth with the Rams, whose defense included Leonard Floyd and his three tackles, beat Chicago 24-14. Sony Michel played sparingly for the Rams, rushing for two yards.

The biggest news, though was the new era for Matthew Stafford as he is now the Rams quarterback, and he threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns.

As for the Bears, their linebacker group is one to watch as a Georgia fan with both Roquan Smith and Alec Ogletree lined up alongside each other. Smith’s 11 tackles led the Bears to the five of Ogletree.

Despite 83 rushing yards and two touchdowns by Nick Chubb, the Browns fell 33-29 to the Chiefs, who were held by 19 receiving yards by Mecole Hardman.

The Dolphins, helped on offense by Solomon Kindley and four tackles by John Jenkins, edged the Patriots 17-16.

Both David Andrews and Isaiah Wynn were in for all 75 offensive snaps for New England.

Playing in his first game for Arizona, AJ Green had two catches for 25 yards. For the Titans, Ben Jones started at center and Monty had two tackles.

In a 37-21 win for Houston against Jacksonville, Chris Conley had two catches against his former team for 27 yards. Tyson Campbell had two tackles in his NFL debut for Jacksonville with Jordan Jenkins have a tackle in his Texas debut.

In the Lions 41-33 loss to San Francisco, D’Andre Swift had 65 receiving yards, including a touchdown, and 39 rushing yards.

Multiple NFL Dawgs was considerable time for the Giants in their 27-13 loss to Denver. Lorenzo Carter and Tae Crowder each had four tackles and Azeez Ojulari had three tackles and a sack. Andrew Thomas also was in for all 61 offensive snaps.

In a 33-27 loss to the Raiders, Justin Houston had two tackles for Baltimore.

The Falcons punting a lot during their loss to the Eagles, and Cameron Nizialek made the most of it, averaging 46 yards.

In the Bills 23-16 loss to the Steelers, Isaiah McKenzie had a 75-yard kickoff return and had 143 total return yards on kickoffs.

Rodrigo Blankenship had a 21-yard field goal in the Colts 28-16 loss to Seattle.
