Packers make Stokes first ‘Dawg drafted

It took awhile, but the Georgia Bulldogs broke through late in the first round. Eric Stokes became the first ‘Dawg off the board, going to the Green Bay Packers at #29.

Stokes took the hard route to stardom in a lot of ways. Many thought he was a better track recruit than a football prospect coming out of high school, and he didn’t really earn a commutable offer to Georgia until late I. The recruiting process.
