Well, that was fun.

Georgia took the field for their annual intrasquad G-Day scrimmage this afternoon. By doing so, they gave UGA fans lots to chew on between now and the next time we see the Dawgs take the field against Clemson in Charlotte.

We sat down after all was said and done to try and start the process of digesting the events of the day. There’s a lot to cover, and we will take a deeper dive into the game film to analyze the secondary and offensive line in the coming weeks. For now, here’s some of the things we looked at...

  • The first team offensive line sure seemed to struggle at times. What should we make of the performances of some of the younger offensive lineman?
  • Carson Beck looks to have more of a lead for the backup quarterback spot than we expected.
  • JT Daniels impressed in many ways, but most importantly he showed some solid mechanics on his deep ball to Demetris Robertson before the half.
  • Georgia looks to have four borderline competent quarterbacks.
  • What should we think about the young defensive backs? Who impressed the most?
  • Did Zamir White catch more balls out of the backfield today than all of last season? Maybe?
  • Lots of guys on defense flashed. Who are the youngsters and veterans to watch?
  • Do you feel better or worse about UGA’s national title hopes after what you saw today? Why?

We covered all of that and a lot more on the show. Give it a watch!
