Time and again this season we’ve seen the Georgia Bulldogs get on top of an opponent by scoring points in a flurry. They did it again in the final moments of the second quarter in Jacksonville, turning a close game into a comfortable 24-0 lead headed to the halftime locker room.
One of Kirby smart ongoing mantras as a coach is that you must win the four minutes before halftime and four minutes after it. His team blew the game open using the first half of that equation. The score of this game was 3-0 with 2:22 left until halftime. From there the Red and Black ran two offensive plays and the ‘Dawgs scored 21 unanswered points.
The Gators will get the ball to start the second half and it feels like they need to put points on the board or risk having this one get totally out of hands. Let’s finish this sucker.
And by sucker, I mean the game, not Dan Mullen.
Or do I?
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
