It’s the week of the Cocktail Party, and Georgia will be seeking revenge against Florida to stay perfect in 2021.
The Gators, on the other hand, are a mere 8-6 since defeating the Dawgs in 2020 in Jacksonville.
While the focus of the conference will be the WLOCP, let’s see what else is happening around the SEC.
- Auburn has mandated that all employees must be vaccinated by December 8th. First year Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin has been notably mum about his vaccination status. This is a saga that will likely drag on until the deadline, with the Tigers potentially looking for their third head football coach in three seasons.
- Former longtime SEC coach Joe Lee Dunn passed away Tuesday at the age of 75. We send our condolences to Dunn’s loved ones.
- Kentucky coach Mark Stoops has been the subject of several head coaching opportunities. Stoops, to no surprise, is not addressing any of these rumors. Still, it will be interesting to see if he gets a chance to jump ship this offseason and coach one of the game’s premier programs.
- With Halloween quickly approaching, Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach opened up about his favorite Halloween candy. A man of great taste, Leach stated that his favorite candy was gummy bears – Haribo gummy bears to be specific. He also stated he loves Spree as well. The SEC is much better with Leach in it, that’s for sure.
FTMF. GO DAWGS!!!
