NFL Dawgs Update

NFL: Los Angeles Rams at New York Giants Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

How’d the NFL Dawgs fare this past week?

Here’s a look.

On Monday night, the Titans, with Ben Jones lined up at center, beat the Bills 34-31. Isaiah McKenzie had 77 kick return yards, six punt return yards, a five-yard rush, and a three-yard catch.

Arizona is 6-0 for the first time since 1974, and the renaissance of AJ Green is a big reason why. On Sunday against Cleveland, he had five catches for 79 yards and a touchdown.

One of Green’s former teammates, Matthew Stafford is also enjoying his new home. Matthew Stafford passed for 251 yards and four touchdowns as the Rams beat the Giants 38-11 thanks also to 42 rushing yards from Sony Michel and two tackles, 1.5 sacks, recovered fumble, and forced fumble.

Tae Crowder’s 10 tackles led the Giants with Azeez Ojulari having two tackles, Lorenzo Carter with one with Andrew Thomas returning from an injury before reinjuring his ankle.

Justin Houston had two tackles and a sack in the Ravens 34-6 win against the Chargers,

In the renewal of an old NFL North rivalry, Eric Stokes had two tackles for the Packers in a 24-14 win against the Bears, who were paced by Roquan Smith’s 12 tackles with Alec Ogletree having one.

In a 31-13 win against Washington for Kansas City, Mecole Hardman had four catches for 62 yards.

D’Andre Swift had 24 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Lions in a 34-11 loss to the Bengals.

In a 31-3 loss to the Colts, Chris Conley had 10 receiving yards and Jordan Jenkins had a tackle.

David Andrews was in for all 54 offensive snaps in a 35-29 loss for the Patriots to the Cowboys.
