This is probably about as close as it gets to official confirmation that J-TD (Tm) will be back at the helm of the Georgia offense in 2021.

After taking over Todd Monken’s offense this season with four games left Daniels was a revelation, completing 67.2% of his passes for 1230 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. His 178.50 QBR qualifies as the highest number among returning SEC starters (he was third in the league in 2020 behind Kyle Trask and Mac Jones). That’s big in a league where the conference title has been won in the last three seasons by the team with the most productive signal caller.
Daniels’ return should also serve as a catalyst both for bringing back NFL-eligible Bulldogs and making Athens an attractive destination for transferring players in what looks like the most active transfer portal season so far. Until later...
