Georgia Keeps 5 Star Dual Threat QB In State

In further evidence that Kirby Smart & Co have the state of Georgia on lock, Gunner Stockton, the 5 star dual threat quarter back from Tiger, GA (Rabun County, Class of 2022) announced his decision to Commit to the G on Twitter today. We now have 7 Georgia players committed for the 2022 class. Gunner is the second 5 star in the 2022 class for Georgia alongside Deyon Bouie (Bainbridge.) Currently also committed in the 2022 class are 5 four stars and 1 three star.

Gunner had offers from a host of schools including nearly the entire SEC. Todd Monken & Kirby Smart even beat out famed QB whisperer Mike Bobo for Gunner’s commitment.

According to 247 Sports, Stockton is the #1 Dual Threat QB in his class, the number 3 player in Georgia and the #37 player nationally.

With only 7 players committed for the class, Georgia is top of the SEC rankings and #3 Nationally.
