As things stand now, there’s a good chance of at least one NFL Dawg to play in the Super Bowl this year.
Of the eight teams remaining in the NFL Playoffs, all but one have at least one Georgia product.
Here’s who to watch this weekend:
Browns vs. Chiefs
The Chiefs boast Mecole Hardman at receiver and special teams as well as Deandre Baker at defensive back and Tyler Clark on the practice squad.
As for Cleveland? As we noted on this site earlier in the week - while Baker Mayfield gets a lot of pub for getting the Browns past round one, a gigantic reason as well is Nick Chubb, who had 18 carries for 76 yards and four catches for 69 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown reception
Ravens at Bills
Isaiah McKenzie and Jake Fromm are on the Bills roster with Nick Moore and Eli Wolf on the Ravens practice squad. The Bills beat Indianapolis to advance despite a 30-yard field goal from Rodrigo Blankenship and a tackle and half a sack from Justin Houston. The Ravens beat the Titans and an offensive line with Ben Jones starting at center.
Rams at Packers
Leonard Floyd lines up at linebacker for the Rams and JR Reed and Tyrique McGee are in on the practice squad. Isaac Nauta is on the Packers practice squad. Floyd had two sacks in the Rams win over Seattle.
Bucs at Saints
Blair Walsh was signed to the Saints practice squad on Monday. The Bears fell short against the Saints but had contributions from multiple Georgia products. John Jenkins had a tackle and fumble recovery, Riley Ridley caught two passes for 36 yards with Javon Wims hauling in a 28-yarder.
