Around the SEC LOVES the Florida hype

The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is upon us much sooner than what we are accustomed to, and by gosh we cannot lose this game to Auburn. But before we beat down the Tigers for the 13th time in 16 matchups, we need to take a gander around the league.

Here’s what’s happening around the SEC:

· If you haven’t heard, Florida football is the greatest thing since sliced bread and they are an unstoppable force. However, the new #3 team in the AP poll gave up 613 yards to Ole Miss. I am VERY here for the media hype, or as Nick Saban likes to say, “Rat poison”, that is going on with Florida. See y’all at the Cocktail party… and if you go, always respect your AirBnBs.

· The most entertaining coach in the SEC, Mike Leach, believes Nick Saban is the type of guy that really likes “costume play”. I… I am not sure how to digest this scorching hot take. However, I am very much here for this new type of curveball thrown at Saban.

· Texas A&M defensive back Clifford Chattman has opted out of the 2020 season. The senior nickel cornerback was slated to be a reserve for the Aggies this season.

· Vanderbilt QB Ken Seals, fresh off his first start for the Commodores, has declared “this isn’t the same Vanderbilt that people have played in the past.” Whether he means Vandy is no longer a pushover like in recent years, or if he means further in the past where Vanderbilt beat teams like Georgia and won a lot of games under James Franklin is TBD.

As always - wash your hands, wear your masks, and GO DAWGS!!!
