Kirby Smart Postgame: Head ‘Dawg not committing to a QB, but determined to play with more discipline.

After a 37-10 win over Arkansas that was a lot more hard-fought than the score indicates, Kirby Smart was non-commital on the one question all UGA fans want answered.

The Lead Dog conceded that junior Stetson Bennett brings “a different energy” to the quarterback position, but indicated that it’s too early to name a starter going forward. Asked if J.T. Daniels will factor into the race Smart deadpanned “He can factor in as soon as he’s cleared.”

Smart also wisely noted that Georgia would probably have been in much different shape if it had played less sloppy first half football regardless of Mathis’s struggles. Frankly, Smart sounds like a man who’s going to put boot to butt this week.

You can see Smart’s full remarks below. Until later...

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
