Tuesday Morning Dawg Bites is Thinkin of Drinkin the Work Week Away

I’m copy writing that line for my future country #1

NCAA Football: Florida at Georgia
This man says they have a whole new team identity.

Good Morning Bulldog Nation! Welcome to Tuesday, you got through the longest Monday ever, just get through today and tomorrow and it’s only a few yards to the goal line from there. I’m sure we’d all like to speed up the work week and get to Saturday already. One way to avoid feeling time dragging is to just go ahead and get drunk now and stay drunk until gameday.

Grab your coffee or other dark liquid hiding from the zoom video in your work-from-home cup and let’s dig in to the news of the day….

In news to absolutely no one. We still don’t know who Georgia’s starting quarterback will be on Saturday. Maybe Kirby himself has no idea who our signal caller will be on Saturday. No? Okay, well he’s still not telling the opposition or the fans who our signal caller will be. The official word is we’re excited about the quarterback competition. Everyone’s done a good job, everyone has taken reps. We’re excited to see those guys play. Hopefully JT Daniels will be cleared medically by Saturday.

Sam “Yessssssssiiiirrrrrr Pittman believes we’ll play both Daniels and Mathis based on both getting reps at scrimmage. “I guarantee none of us will know that starting quarterback for Georgia until he runs out there.”

Kearis Jackson says fans are in for a surprise and will see a team with a whole new identity we’ve never seen before. There’s also word of a new offensive playbook courtesy of Todd Monken.

Georgia remains at #4 in the AP Top 25, just ahead of Florida and behind Clemson, Alabama and Oklahoma in that order. Seems like I’ve seen that lineup before somewhere?

Lastly to some bits and bobs around the Bulldog Nation:

Georgia soccer beat defending SEC Champions the South Carolina Gamecocks. That’s certainly a good way to end the 6 month sports drought in Athens.

Georgia’s Davis Thompson will join Harris English and Brendon Todd at the US Open this week. It will be his career debut and it starts at 7:34am on Thursday.

The NCAA has granted Cade Mays waiver. Now he waits for the SEC to concur.

It’s a light news day so that’s all I’ve got for now, y’all mind your manners & play pretty.

Until next time….

GO DAWGS!!! BEAT THE RAZORBACKS!!!
