I’ll be honest with y’all... I’m about ready to run through a brick wall.
Now, sure, maybe it’s because I’ve been trapped in between four of them for the last 5 months... or maybe it’s because yesterday @GeorgiaFootball dropped their Day 1 video from preseason camp on Twitter.
I’ve spent the last few months not allowing myself to think about the upcoming season... even as opponents and schedules were announced over the last couple weeks I kept it at a distance. I didn’t think I could pay the emotional toll of getting fired up for something that would ultimately be snatched from my grasp at the last moment. I still don’t think I can...
The 54 seconds below was the first time I’ve actually allowed myself to get a little bit excited about college football and our Georgia Bulldogs in this godforsaken year... and now that excitement is starting to snowball and I feel myself smiling for no reason during the day and... well, y’all know how it feels.
☑️ Day 1

Boy, it feels good to be back.#GoDawgs #ATD pic.twitter.com/FqatQVPRO8
So let’s take a moment before we get any further into the preseason/season hype vortex to appreciate the fine work the Georgia Football video staff does week in and week out, year after year. Whether it’s getting us amped for a big time Saturday showdown or steeling our resolve following a difficult loss, they always seem to know how to strike just the right tone to unite Dawg Nation. I really wish I’d known that was something one could do as a career. I wouldn’t have been nearly as good at it as they are, but man I would’ve loved that job.
Until the next hype vid...
GOOOO DAWGS!!!
