Free Form....Saturday?: Give Us The Good News First

Well, there’s still no college sports.

That’s still a problem, albeit far from our worst one. But we’re going to get through this with a little help from our friends. And Free Form Friday, the virtual tailgate tent under which we gather (at a safe distance) to cast our burdens aside. Maestro, the music:

I gotta be honest folks. It’s been a tough week. I mean, it’s been a tough week for all of us. But after a solid two weeks of working from home with spotty internet service, trying to make sure there’s enough food in the house, and checking dot plots of a cresting wave of disease, I’m pretty spent.

So for today’s day late/dollar short installment of Free Form Friday there’s no “SEC coaches as Arrested Development characters”, though who are we kidding Dan Mullen’s Tobias Funke and it ain’t even close. Besides, DawgOutWest has you covered in the comparison category using that crazy ass exotic animal hoarder/meth addict show. No “crazy predictions for 2020” (though Auburn’s definitely winning the SEC West).

Nope, today just tell me something good. Something good that happened to you this week. Or something good that you heard or read. Really just anything mildly encouraging to your fellow humans would be nice.

I’ll start. I currently have a pork shoulder on the smoker that’s going to be turned into enough carnitas pork to feed an army. Also, Kroger had Sierra Nevada pale ale, which I got in our pickup order. I’d forgotten how good that stuff is so far as mass-produced beers go.
