The penultimate weekend of the SEC season is upon us, and it’s truly impressive that we’ve made it here. The SEC Championship matchup has been decided (gross), but there is still plenty to play for these last two weekends.
Here’s what’s happening around the SEC:
· LSU tight end Arik Gilbert is mulling a transfer after reportedly feeling homesick. The Marietta, GA native was once a major recruiting target for Kirby Smart and Co. This is one that Dawg fans should keep an eye on…
· The Ole Miss-Texas A&M game has been postponed due to a COVID outbreak at Ole Miss. Both teams have games scheduled for December 19th, so we will see how the SEC juggles their schedules.
· South Carolina has hired former Georgia tight ends coach Shane Beamer as their new head coach. The Kirby Smart coaching tree keeps growing.
· Kentucky has let go of offensive coordinator Eddie Gran and quarterbacks coach Darin Hinshaw.
Until next week – wash your hands, wear your masks, and GO DAWGS!!!
