Good Morning Bulldog Nation! Welcome to Tuesday!
The 2020 football season is presently extended for two more weeks of Bulldog Football with the rescheduling of Georgia v. Mizzou this weekend (noon eastern on SEC Network) and possibly Georgia v. Vanderbilt on the 19th. This year has taken its toll on us all so at least we get to extend football season until the week before Christmas? In any event, on to the news around the Dawgosphere.
Seth Emerson of The Athletic (pay site) brings us a first glimpse at which of our current seniors are likely to declare for the draft. All the seniors who have already accepted bids to the Senior Bowl are not eligible to return. Richard LeCounte, Monty Rice and a number of others have not yet accepted, so hope springs eternal that we’ll see them return.
Trey Blount has entered the transfer portal after finding himself buried in the depth chart. Meanwile, Twitter & others report LSU freshman Arik Gilbert has been homesick since arriving in Baton Rouge and is heavily considering entering the portal himself.
Rumor is Baton Rouge native Makiya Tongue may join Trey Blount in the transfer portal. Perhaps we can arrange a trade?
Nyland Green is set to announce his commitment in the morning on CBS Sports HQ. Georgia is one of 4 finalists hoping to gain his services.
Y’all mind your manners, and play pretty…
Until next time….
GO DAWGS!!! BEAT MIZZOU!!!
