Wednesday Dawg Bites Is Seeking Optimism

Between the COVID cloud hanging over the team and opt outs, it’s easy to be pessimistic about the Chick-fil-A Bowl. But if you want to counter that, consider that the big piece in the middle of the defense is eager to be on the field. As we saw last year against Baylor, having guys excited to be at the bowl and not go through the motions makes a huge difference.

From the media side, one of the best things for Georgia being in a bowl is that it means coordinator availability after them being on lockdown all season long from interviews. As expected, the insight is great...and for Todd Monken is was..well..maybe not for a family audience.

Speaking of Monken..here’s what he loves most about Brock Vandagriff.

Monty Rice, Eric Stokes, and Ben Cleveland have made it official about their plans to opt out of the bowl game..

As for the Bearcats? They see the bowl as a stage to take advantage of.

Go Dawgs!
