NFL Dawgs Update

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Any NFL Dawgs update is not complete without Nick Chubb. He recently returned from injury, helping keep Cleveland in the playoff hunt. In a win over Jacksonville, he rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown.

Also in the AFC South, Rodrigo Blankenship converted a pair of PATs and Justin Houston had two tackles in the Colts 45-26 win against the Titans, who had Ben Jones in for 69 snaps and Isaiah Wilson also making his NFL debut.

Tae Crowder had three tackles and Andrew Thomas logged 81 snaps in the Giants 19-17 win against the Bengals. Shawn Williams picked up seven yards on a fake punt for Cincy.

Leonard Floyd continues to thrive for the Rams. He had seven tackles and one for a loss in a loss to San Francisco.

Jordan Jenkins had five tackles and half a sack as the Jets fell to the Dolphins.

David Andrews being in for all 53 offensive snaps helped New England top Arizona.

Thomas Davis had a tackle for Washington in its Thanksgiving rout of the Cowboys.

Isaiah McKenzie had a catch for minus yard, but he and Jake Fromm continue to be part of a Buffalo team on pace to unseat to Patriots in the AFC East.

Three catches for 23 yards and four punt returns for 20 yards by Mecole Hardman aided the Chiefs 27-24 win against Tampa.

The Lions may have lost to Houston on Thanksgiving, but Matthew Stafford still had a nice day, throwing for 295 yards and a touchdown.

The Bears took it on the chin in a 41-25 loss to Green Bay, but got bright spots by way of Roquan Smith’s five tackles, three from John Jenkins and two Riley Ridley catches for 16 yards.

Nick Moore and Chauncey Rivers have made the most of an opportunity. With COVID-19 forcing multiple Ravens players to miss Wednesday’s game in Pittsburgh, both were activated as long snapper, snapping seven punts and two extra points.
