Tuesday Morning Dawg Bites sends Christmas Wishes

NCAA Football: Missouri at Georgia Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Good Morning Bulldog Nation! Welcome to Tuesday!

I hope everyone of you can enjoy a peaceful, pleasant holiday season this year. I am fortunate that my wanderlust child is moving home next week. My family is healthy, including my elderly relatives, none of us have lost jobs due to this mess and everyone is getting along the best they can.

For many people holidays can be the worst time of the year in the best of times. Some family members are difficult to be around, but we tend to suck it up and go along to get along because they’re family. Sometimes we reach a breaking point with family at the holidays. Some people are sadly alone for the holidays. Other people are celebrating Christmas for the first time without a loved one. My Christmas wish for all of us is peacefulness, love and joy. For those who are hurting, I send out my wishes that they will find comfort and strength. To all our military serving I send my thanks to you and to your families for the sacrifices you make every day and especially at Christmas.

You already know we’re playing Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl and doing so without 8 starters. While the line opened with Georgia favored by 8 points, it quickly dropped to less than a touchdown.

Marietta OLB Daniel Martin feels at home in Athens even though he’s taking visits to a few other schools. Hopefully he’ll be signing this time next year.

In other recruiting news, we offered Dual-Threat QB Malachi Singleton out of North Cobb High School.

In basketball, The Lady Bulldogs improved to 7-0 while the men are up to 6-0.

That’s all the news I have for you, so y’all mind your manners, and play pretty…

Merry Christmas Y’all!

GO DAWGS!!! BEAT CINCINATTI!!!
