Third Quarter Open Thread

NCAA Football: Georgia at Missouri Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

Up until the final drive, that was an embarrassing second quarter and if we reprise it going forward we may well lose this football game. Fortunately, I suspect that’s about as poorly as we can execute in the passing and kicking games. And I’m hoping the Classic City contingent come out of halftime with some focus. But then, this has been a year of surprises, hasn’t it?

Missouri had some serious momentum there, and it was heartening to see JT Daniel lead a calm touchdown drive to answer it. You can’t win an SEC football game in the first quarter. Let’s hope this one turns into a generally pain-free reminder of that.

Go ‘Dawgs.
