Wow, I can’t believe it is already December. And we still have potentially two more Dawg football games to watch before the bowl game! Ya know, assuming the Missouri game gets officially rescheduled.

Let’s take a look at where the league stands as the calendar turns to December.

Here’s what’s happening around the SEC:

· Vanderbilt has fired head coach Derek Mason after their 0-8 start to the season. Offensive coordinator Todd Fitch will serve as interim head coach when the ‘Dores travel to Athens this weekend.

· More Vandy news! Kicker Sarah Fuller was named Co-Special Teams Player of the Week for the SEC. We may get to see her kick yet again Between the Hedges this weekend.

· Alabama head coach Nick Saban is feeling well after battling COVID-19 and hopeful to be on the sidelines this weekend when the Crimson Tide take on LSU.

· Florida running back Iverson Clement has entered the transfer portal, becoming the second Gator to do so this season. They must have a poor culture down there, amirite Dan Mullen??

· Four-star running back Armoni Goodwin has decommitted from Auburn. The number five running back in the nation will now choose between Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Florida State, and Auburn for where he will play college ball.

· Kentucky corner back Kelvin Joseph has opted out of the rest of the 2020 season and will start prepping for the 2021 NFL Draft.

Until next week – wash your hands, wear your masks, and GO DAWGS!!!
