It’s time. The Cocktail Party. The Dawgs look to make it four straight against the Gators and get their offense back on track.
The Georgia leaders are stepping up ahead of the Cocktail Party. Monty Rice was outspoken in a players’ only meeting that called upon the underclassmen to step up with so many starters banged up. It’s good to see this type of leadership, and let’s hope Rice’s message resonates with the team.
Also, it’s a new week, which means a new CBS college football writer is betting against the Dawgs. This time, it’s Tom Fornelli, who has the Gators winning outright against the favored Bulldogs. This isn’t new – no one believes the Dawgs will cover (or win) given their offensive struggles. Just like in previous weeks, most notably against Tennessee, we will see if Georgia can prove the pundits wrong.
In non-football news, the Georgia women’s soccer game against Missouri has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 cases and subsequent quarantines. Let’s hope this outbreak is not serious and everyone is ok.
As always - wash your hands, wear your masks, and GO DAWGS!!!
