Friday Dawg Bites Turns Its Head to Augusta

The Masters - Round One Photo by Rob Carr/Getty Images

Happy Friday, Dawg Nation, as we embark on an unexpected bye week. In fact, sadly it could be the first of two straight bye weeks, but we will cross our fingers the game next weekend will be played.

The game against Missouri could be rescheduled for December 19th if Florida does indeed punch their ticket to the SEC Championship Game. This would open the possibility of Georgia playing a snow game for the first time since 1912. 2020, y’all.

With Georgia football being put on hold, we fully turn our heads to August National for the Masters. Georgia alumni has a solid day on Thursday with Kevin Kisner posting a one under round of 71, two-time champion Bubba Watson shooting two over par, and Brendon Todd at even par when his round was suspended.

In future Dawg news, five start quarterback commit Brock Vandagriff is getting after it in the weight room, posting a video of him power cleaning 315 lbs. The way this season has gone at QB, he will have a very real chance and being the starter in 2021.

As always - wash your hands, wear your masks, and GO DAWGS!!!
