Winning Smart Victory Post #46 - Is Targeting Bad Calls

NCAA Football: Auburn at Georgia
Mr. Nix has 2 more years to relive being swarmed by red jerseys.
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

For the 13th time in 16 games and the fourth game in a row, your University of Georgia Bulldogs have beaten the Auburn Tigers. How sweet it is my friends; how sweet it is.

It is our intention to celebrate Georgia Bulldog Football Wins whenever and wherever they occur. The ugliness of any particular win is irrelevant for the purposes of the Winning Smart Victory Post. This win was gorgeous

It is therefore my deepest honor and privilege to bring to you this week’s edition of: The Winning Smart Victory Post.

Coach Kirby Smart coached his 58th game tonight for the Red & Black. He currently boasts a 46-12 record and a 0.7931 winning percentage, having carded his forty-sixth win overall over the Auburn Tigers.

At the identical juncture in their careers:

Vince Dooley’s 58th game as head coach resulted in a Georgia Bulldog loss to the Ole Miss Rebels in the 1969 season. Giving Coach Dooley a record of 41-14-3 and 0.7328 percentage.

Coach Mark Richt was 48-10 (0.8276) after beating Vanderbilt in the 2005 season.

Fifty-eight games into his head coaching career Kirby Smart is two games behind Coach Mark Richt and ahead of Coach Vince Dooley by 3 1/2 games. As of now, he is holding his own versus the two winningest coaches in Georgia Football History.

As always . . .

Go ‘Dawgs !!!
