Are we trying to lull the wildcats into a false sense of security or did the defense forget they’re supposed to be good against the run - that is the question. I don’t think we were expecting a shootout but I wasn’t really expecting a low-scoring slugfest either. Maybe the Defense has decided to let the Offense carry the game.
By rights, Georgia should be moving the ball at will and Kentucky shouldn’t have crossed the 50 yard line. That’s not been the case in the first half.
The first quarter 5 minute run the dang ball drive by Georgia put us up 7 points. Then Rochester got hurt and all of a sudden Kentucky was moving the ball. Rochester has returned to the field, but not yet to the game.

We were moving well until perhaps a poor decision by Stetson let KY bat the ball down for an interception. A very bad series of events led to a missed field goal as time expired in the first half. Our score is 7 - 3 Georgia up to start the second half. In good news, Georgia starts out on offense.
Hopefully Kirby & Co will get things sorted out in the locker room and the boys will come out in the second half looking like the team we know and love and not this lackluster nonsense we saw in the first half.
