It wasn’t unexpected, but that does not mean he won’t be missed.
To the surprise of few, Georgia running back D’Andre Swift announced Monday that he’ll forego his senior year at Georgia to enter the NFL Draft.

In the post, Swift thanked Georgia head coach Kirby Smart and running backs coach Dell McGee, among others. He also states that he’ll always be a Bulldog, to which certainly many Georgia fans agree.
He had many highlights in Athens, though few were as jubilant as the dagger to put Auburn away in 2017.
One thing he’ll also be beloved for over time, though, is his willingness to be in the Sugar Bowl and find a way, somehow, to help Georgia win.
Oh, and we’ll also miss Swift’s family in the crowd as well.
Go run and get paid, D’Andre.
Go Dawgs!
