Georgia’s lost basketball games to Tennessee in Athens. But you could be forgiven if you don’t remember when.
The Vols will have to wait even longer to end their Stegeman losing streak after dropping their sixth straight road game to Georgia, 80-63. The Bulldogs came out of the gate strong, especially Anthony Edwards. AntMan began the game by hitting three straight three pointers and finished the first half with 20 points. The Red and Black trailed for a grand total of 1:59 of game time in the first half before opening up a 47-28 halftime lead they never relinquished.
Edwards led all Bulldog scorers with 26 points, but Rayshaun Hammonds had another solid night, chipping in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Georgia moves to 11-5 on the year and 1-2 in the SEC. The Hoop Hounds Will again take the court on Saturday in Starkville against Mississippi State. Until later...
