Georgia Overview
The Dawgs had a bye week and will face Tennessee in Knoxville next weekend.
Movers
Fell Out: #15 California, #24 Kansas State
Newcomers: #21 Oklahoma State, #22 Wake Forest, #24 SMU
Overrated
#25 Texas A&M. I’m surprised the Aggies remained in the polls after barely escaping against Arkansas, but here we are. I think A&M is still a good team, and that rivalry game with the Hogs is always a closely contested. Still, the way their schedule lines up, they may not end the season ranked.
Underrated
#7 Auburn. I’m not advocating that the Tigers should be ranked higher, but I think Auburn should be thought of in the same way the national media looks at the top six teams. The defense is legit, and Bo Nix is playing very well for a true freshmen. The Tigers will get the job done against Florida this weekend.
This Week’s Top 25 Matchups
#14 Iowa at #19 Michigan
#7 Auburn at #10 Florida
#25 Michigan State at #4 Ohio State
Upset Alert
I couldn’t have been more wrong about the Maryland upset last week. We’ll move on. This week, I’m taking Cincinnati to knock off UCF on Friday night.
