3 Things That Worry Me About...

New, comments
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: SEP 21 Notre Dame at Georgia
I searched our catalog for “Bye Week” and it came up with an image from the Miami/UF game. True story.

It’s the dreaded annual rivalry game against Bye U. The Fightin’ Fall Breaks are all too real, and all too often change the direction of the season. So with the hype surrounding this neutral field opponent, what worries you most about this week’s tilt?

We’ve now seen 4 games, no two quite the same. There was the dominant but not soul-crushing defeat of Vanderbilt, the wasn’t-quite-as-high-a-score game against Murray State, the Kirb-stomp of Arkansas State, and the didn’t expect to have to come from behind but kinda had it under control late but man that was close victory against Notre Dame. Maybe not a huge sample size, but enough variety to even out a few outliers and anomalies.

Our stats are still gaudy. We’re still #3 in the nation. We still have yet to surrender a rushing touchdown. We still have almost all of our skill players healthy. And yet, we Munson. Which is healthy. Despair, anxiety until it causes physical symptoms, affecting your relationships with others worrying is not healthy. Munson-ing is knowing that we’re Georgia, that the football is not circular, that it’s college football, that 18-22 year old men/boys control the destiny more than your lucky shirt, but by Gawd it’s great to be a Georgia Bulldog... that kind of thing.

Vote below, and let’s see what’s on our collective minds.

And feel free to sound off in the comments below. This isn’t a NSFW thread, but vent it out in a healthy, respectful, engaging manner and let’s use the bye week to get it off our chest. Not to mention revel in schadenfreude as some other schmuck will take it on the chin and have their season’s hopes dashed against the rock of unexpectedly losing. We’re safe for now.

And as always...
