Do not let the Georgia Bulldog football team’s 4-0 start distract you from the fact that Tom Crean is out there getting ready for basketball season and doing work on the recruiting trail.

2021 power forward Joshua Taylor out of Norcross picked Georgia this evening over offers from the likes of Georgia Tech, LSU, and St. John’s (Miami, Tennessee, and Xavier were also recruiting him). The 6’8, 195 pound, 4 star recruit is the first player in his class to declare for the ‘Dawgs. But it looks as if he will reclassify and actually enroll as part of the 2020 class.
It’s also worth noting the early commitment of an instate player from a powerhouse program. There was a time when that sort of thing just didn’t happen in Athens. Maybe, just maybe, those days are over. Until later...
Go ‘Dawg!!!
