Your Week 3 College Football TV Schedule

Brought to you by Zeus’s Touchdown Emporium... Doors open at noon

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Well folks, we have a truly packed slate this weekend, so I’m just going to get right to it. Let’s go!

Your Week 3 College Football TV Schedule >>>>> CLICK HERE!!!!!

Now let’s get to the picks of your most interesting viewing options in each time slot...

Friday

North Carolina Tar Heels @ Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 6:00 p.m., ESPN

UNC and Wake Forest are both in the ACC. And yet, this is a non-conference game. If you find that as confusing as I did, check the explanation here. I will say it adds a bit of intrigue to a game I might have otherwise overlooked. Also, the beauty here is that this game will be over early enough for you to catch a couple extra hours of sleep before you hit that early morning, noon kickoff tailgate.

Noon

Arkansas State Red Wolves @ #3 Georgia Bulldogs, 12:00 p.m., ESPN2

Chattanooga Mocs @ Tennessee Volunteers, 12:00 p.m., SECNetwork

Watching Georgia is obligatory, of course, but I’m just gonna go ahead and label the “back” button on my remote control “schadenfreude”.

Afternoon

Stanford Cardinal @ #17 UCF Knights, 3:30 p.m., ESPN

I was all ready to wish our future National Champions luck as they took the field against the only ranked team they’ll play all season, but then Stanford dropped out of the rankings after losing by 25 to a mediocre at best USC squad. At any rate, I’ll be flipping back and forth between this battle of titans and scouting Notre Dame (insomuch as one can against New Mexico State anyway).

Evening

#9 Florida Gators @ Kentucky Wildcats, 7:00 p.m., ESPN

A week ago, most folks would’ve said the Clemson Tigers and Syracuse Orange were destined to be the pick here. But it turned out Syracuse was just the teensiest bit overrated, so you’ll have to settle for finding out if the Gators are similarly overrated (Spoiler: Regardless of the outcome of this game, they are).

Late Night

Texas Tech Red Raiders @ Arizona Wildcats, 10:30 p.m., ESPN

PAC BIG 12 After Dark? Leave it to the scheduling wizards to give me something I didn’t even know I wanted.

That’s all for this week, folks. Until next time...

GOOOO DAWGS!!!
