One of Georgia’s thinnest position groups on the roster appears to be losing one of its key leaders a bit more than two months before the season kicks off.

JJ Holloman, one of the receiving groups leaders as far as production and by all accounts, locker room leadership, is no longer part of the Georgia program, according to an initial story by The Covington News

The news comes following the reporting of an incident that occurred in 2018.

“Jeremiah Holloman no longer represents the University of Georgia football program,” Coach Kirby Smart said in a statement to The Covington News. “We expect every member of our team to uphold the highest standards and values of the University of Georgia and Georgia football. It is disappointing when this does not happen.”
