Georgia/FSU Regional Baseball: How To Watch/Open Thread

The Diamond ‘Dawgs are set to take on the Florida State Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. in day two of the Athens Regional on ESPN2.

Florida State powered its way into the winners’ bracket yesterday with six home runs to down Florida Atlantic 13-7. FSU is playing in a regional away from Tallahassee for the first time since 2010, but looked at home against the Owls in game one on Friday.

Georgia of course rode an eight run first inning against the Mercer Bears to a 13-3 victory. The ‘Dawgs will send sophomore standout Emerson Hancock to the mound against FSU’s C.J. Van Eyk, who’s undefeated with a 2.86 ERA in seven decisions this season.

It’s a matchup of two big time baseball programs led by two of the most dominant pitchers in college baseball. What could be better than that?
