‘Dawging the Draft: Bulldogs Available To A Good Home

If you’re sitting in the Draft room of an NFL team and really want to pick up a former Georgia Bulldog, you’ve got plenty of options.

Coverage of the final day of the NFL Draft begins at noon today with round four getting underway, and only corner Deandre Baker (1st round, Giants), and Mecole Hardman (2nd round, Chiefs) off the board. That’s a little bit surprising in some cases and less shocking in others. I expected to have heard Riley Ridley’s name called by now, and will be curious to see where he ends up. But most other draft eligible Bulldogs were potential third round, but more likely late round, prospects.

Some of them will inevitably find their NFL homes soon, whether by hearing their names called in Nashville or through the free agency feeding frenzy that will kick off this afternoon. So stay hydrated and stay tuned. We’ve got a big afternoon ahead.
