By now the early jitters and adrenaline are wearing off. It felt like Georgia needed to come out and get off to a fast start to prove they belonged and get the pro-Georgia crowd into the action.
Instead a senior and junior receiver dropped catchable balls on Georgia’s opening drive and the Bayou Bengals have made a series of clutch plays.
So, uh, less of that would be nice. It feels like the Dawgs can still keep pace in this one. But the window is closing. This is going to be one key second quarter.
