Your Championship Week College Football TV Schedule

Brought to you by suspended wide receivers, sideline pushups, and millionaire coaches whining about how they’re being mistreated...

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

It’s the final weekend before the playoff picture comes into focus and the bowls are decided across college football. While there are obviously fewer games than usual, we have an abundance of championship game riches and ranked-on-ranked matchups across the schedule. So enjoy it while you can, because things are winding down rapidly. Let’s go!

And now for the most interesting options in each time slot:

#13 Oregon Ducks vs. #5 Utah Utes, 8:00 p.m., ABC (PAC 12 Championship Game)

This is easily the most impactful game of the weekend, assuming that Georgia doesn’t manage to knock off LSU. If the Dawgs should manage to pull out a victory, it’s a big “meh,” but you won’t know that while you’re watching it.

#7 Baylor Bears vs. #6 Oklahoma Sooners, 12:00 p.m., ABC (BIG 12 Championship Game)

Ahh, yes... as surely as the autumn leaves fall and winter comes sweeping into our lives, we will be treated to the annual defense-optional Battle for the Big 12.

#4 Georgia Bulldogs vs. #2 LSU Tigers, 4:00 p.m., CBS (SEC Championship Game)

In what will be either a grueling battle between one of the nation’s most prolific offenses and one of the nation’s stingiest defenses or an absolute blowout, we’ll find out if the Dawgs have what it takes to measure up.

#1 Ohio State Buckeyes vs. #8 Wisconsin Badgers, 8:00 p.m., FOX (BIG 10 Championship Game)

The Badgers have one final chance to throw a wrench into everything. Should be fun.

That’s all for this week and the season, folks! I’ll be bringing you your bowl game schedule when I get around to changing all the game logos. Until then...
