Houston (North Shore) tailback Zach Evans is rated the top player at his position in the class of 2020. Evans has long been rumored to have strong interest in the Georgia Bulldogs, though it appeared for a while that he might be more strongly favoring home state Texas A&M or SEC Champion LSU. But Evans apparently sent in his national letter of intent last week, and today gave a pretty big hint about what lucky school it went to.

I’m reasonably certain Georgia was the only one of Evans’ finalists with a tailback playing in the Super Bowl as a rookie in 2018. And if he’s looking for a school with a proven record of putting tailbacks in the league, Georgia would certainly fit the bill.
Evans is set to announce his decision at halftime of the Under Armour All-America game on Thursday, January 2nd. Until later...
