Just one week remains in the NFL season. While a few former Dawgs will have a chance at a Lombardi Trophy, others are looking to finish out their year strong.
Among this past week’s highlights...
In a matchup of two playoff-bound teams, the Patriots, aided by 96 rushing yards by Sony Michel and Isaiah Wynn lined up at left tackle, held off the Bills 24-17. Ben Watson also caught three passed for 15 yards for the Patriots. Isaiah McKenzie had two catches for 11 yards for Buffalo.

The Dolphins and Bills, two teams with high draft picks on the way, engaged in a wild one with the Dolphins winning 38-35. John Jenkins had a pair of tackles for Miami. For the Bengals, Shawn Williams led with 13 tackles and Cordy Glenn started at tackle for an offensive that had 430 yards. Geno Atkins, bound for the Pro Bowl, had a quarterback hit for the Bengals as well.
The Giants won an offensive shootout, topping the Redskins 41-35. Deandre Baker’s 10 tackles led New York on defense and Lorenzo Carter also had an active day with four tackles and 1.5 sacks.
DeAndre Baker is now down to 57.1 completion percentage on the season. Kid is getting better and better. Needs to work on some technique and clean up some penalties, but now you're starting to see why he was a No. 1
