Your University of Georgia Bulldogs carded their eleventh win of the 2019 – 2020 season last night. The Classic City Canines took a 3 – 0 lead 5 minutes into the game and never relinquished it.
It is our intention to celebrate Georgia Bulldog Football Wins whenever and wherever they occur. The ugliness of any particular win is irrelevant for the purposes of the Winning Smart Victory Post.
It is therefore my deepest honor and privilege to bring to you this week’s edition of: The Winning Smart Victory Post.
Coach Kirby Smart coached his 54th game tonight for the Red & Black. He currently boasts a 43-11 record and a 0.7963 winning percentage, having carded his forty-third win overall over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Historic Mark Richt Field.
At the identical juncture in their careers:
Vince Dooley’s 54th game as head coach resulted in a Georgia Bulldog loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Sugar Bowl to end the 1968 season. Giving Coach Dooley a record of 38-13-3 and 0.7315 percentage.
Coach Mark Richt was 44-10 (0.8148) after beating South Carolina early in his 5th season as head coach.
Fifty four games into his head coaching career Kirby Smart is one game behind Coach Mark Richt and ahead of Coach Vince Dooley by 3 1/2 games. As of now, he is holding his own versus the two winningest coaches in Georgia Football History.
As always . . .
Go ‘Dawgs !!! Win the SEC!
