Afternoon Games Open Thread: This One’s For All The Gumbo

The big matchup in this prime viewing slot before the Bulldogs take on Missouri is obviously the Fightin’ Orgerons of LSU playing the Alabama Crimson Tide for SEC West supremacy.

Honestly I’m not sure either that the Alabama defense has the depth or experience to stop LSU’s potent offense or that LSU is ready to perform in this particular big game atmosphere. But the winner will almost certainly be installed as a solid #1 atop the playoff rankings and become the big boss waiting at the end of the SEC East derby.
