Around the SEC

The SEC regular season is over for Georgia, and the Dawgs will look to swat away Georgia Tech once again at Mark Richt Field before meeting LSU in Atlanta for the SEC title.

Let’s check-in on the rest of the conference as we head into rivalry week.

Here’s what’s happening around the SEC:

  • After an extremely lengthy process, the NCAA has decided to uphold Missouri’s bowl ban. At 5-6, the Tigers were poised to go bowling if their appeal, which was filed in the summer, was upheld. However, the NCAA decided to wait until Thanksgiving week to make a ruling, yet another example of NCAA incompetence.
  • With Oregon’s loss to Arizona State, the path to the Playoff for Alabama has become a bit clearer.
  • After the Greg Schiano fiasco, Rutgers may be turning their attention to hiring Mississippi State coach Joe Moorhead to lead their team.
  • After their 7 overtime thriller last season, here is an oral history of the 2018 LSU-Texas A&M game.

Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
