Georgia Overview

Different game, same script. Georgia’s defense was suffocating while the offense was lackluster in their 19-13 win over Texas A&M. Jake Fromm completed under 50% of his passes, and D’Andre Swift ran for over 100 yards. We will need Fromm to play much better if we hope to win the SEC.

Georgia faces Georgia Tech in some Clean Old-Fashioned Hate this weekend. And don’t let their fans forget who runs this state.

Movers

Fell Out: #25 SMU

Newcomers: #24 Virginia Tech

Overrated

#8 Minnesota. The Golden Gophers have had a great ride, but they would get beat a lot of teams ranked below them, except for Penn State. The Badgers will have their shot this weekend.

Underrated

#13 Michigan. The Wolverines have caught fire recently, albeit against a weakened schedule. We will see if the offense under coordinator Josh Gattis has truly turned a corner when the #1 ranked Buckeyes head to Ann Arbor.

This Week’s Top 25 Matchups

#19 Cincinnati at #18 Memphis

#1 Ohio State at #13 Michigan

#5 Alabama at #15 Auburn

#12 Wisconsin at #8 Minnesota

#7 Oklahoma at #21 Oklahoma State

Upset Alert

Last week, I predicted one of the Arizona schools would beat either Oregon or Utah. While that was a slight cop out, I was technically correct, so I’m giving myself full credit.

This week, I’m taking #21 Oklahoma State over #7 Oklahoma in Bedlam.
